The role

NextSense has multiple exciting opportunities for new graduate or experienced Speech Pathologists to join our team. These are full-time or part-time fixed term contracts, which report directly to our Area Manager. You’ll make a difference in this role by: 

  • Provide high quality assessment and intervention
  • Support for the hearing implantation journey with clients and their families
  • Operate services and deliver NextSense programs both in person as well as through a range of technologies including videoconferencing
  • Collaborating with other vision and hearing specialists and therapists to play a key role in implementing individualised programs for our clients; including Early Intervention
  • Managing client related administration ensuring all client records, information and case notes meet legislative and policy requirements
  • Understanding and using processes related to NDIS funded services

The person we are looking for

  • Relevant qualifications in Speech Pathology and current registration with Speech Pathology Australia
  • A current NSW drivers’ licence
  • Working with Children Check in accordance with NSW Child Protection legislation and NDIS worker screening check in line with the NSW child protection legislation
  • Work autonomously as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Well-developed communication, presentation and computer skills
