The Role
- Evaluate the functional auditory ability of clients with hearing loss
- Assess potential cochlear implant candidates referred, provide a written and verbal report of the results and recommendations to relevant stakeholder
- Provide support in all aspects of the hearing implantation journey with clients and their families
- Contribute to our family centred philosophy and offer a combination of, centre based and tele conference therapy
- Liaise and report to involved agencies on a client’s auditory progress and the technology to be used in various settings
- Occasional outreach to regional areas as required
The person we're looking for
- Relevant qualifications in Audiology
- Current registration with Audiology Australia with Certificate of Clinical Practice
- Proven audiological experience
- Work autonomously as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Well-developed communication, presentation and computer skills
- A current NSW drivers’ licence
- Working with Children Check in accordance with NSW Child Protection legislation
- NDIS Worker Check required
