 The Role

 We’re looking for a full time Information Systems & Software Manager to lead our IT & Software Development team by providing strategic planning to ensure the establishment and continuous improvement of NextSense’s architecture and systems as well as provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities. Reporting directly to our Director, Technology, Operations and Property. You’ll make a difference in this role by providing:

 Information Systems: 

  • Designing the IT strategy in accordance with the and strategy aligning with the needs of the local business & overlook day to day operations of the team
  • Human Resource planning, motivation and development of IT team members 
  • Monitor and track the building and roll out phases of the IT project portfolio
  • Steer and support IT projects, groups and committees
  • Responsible for allocating resources to company projects on behalf of IT, balancing and prioritizing business needs.
  • Identify and execute opportunities for investment in sourcing and vendor management, purchasing, third party support, and in-house development as required Information security and data protection, risk and compliance.

Software Development: 

  • Experience managing multi-dimensional technical software projects of high-level complexity in a collaborative environment.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with project managers and key stakeholders to help the software team in building the highest quality products while hitting their deliverable dates
  • Experience in finding and nurturing talented software developers, setting clear objectives, providing timely feedback on performance, and measuring results

 The person we are looking for 

  • Information Systems and Technology knowledge and understanding, including Web development, LAN/WAN, server, workstation and video conferencing technologies
  • Considerable knowledge of information technology architecture and business systems, concepts, methodologies and current trends.
  • Experience in managing and leading multi-disciplinary team
  • Knowledge in budget, project management and Agile methodology
